Calestea is entertainment and creative reflection — not diagnosis, not prophecy. Here is what that means in practice.

Three commitments, in public.

Astrology has been used for two millennia to predict bodies, fates, and worth. We do none of that. We use it only to choose how a portrait is styled around the person you already are — your palette, your materials, your atmosphere. Where we draw from a living culture, we mark our depth honestly. Where AI models default to a single body, a single face, a single beauty standard, we push back explicitly.

  • ✓Treat readings as creative interpretation, not prediction or diagnosis.
  • ✓Preserve your body, face, age, and skin as they are — your portrait shows you, not an idealized version.
  • ✓Show only the mature expression of each archetype. Shadow descriptions stay internal — they never reach you.
  • ✓Mark each cultural system's depth honestly: full, partial, symbolic-only, or deferred.
  • ✓Publish every mistake we correct in a public changelog at /ethics/changes.
  • ✓Respond to every feedback email within 48 hours, on the record.
✦ WHAT WE DON'T
  • ×No claims about your future, your health, your relationships, or your worth as a person.
  • ×No body, face, age, weight, or skin descriptors anywhere in the prompts we send to the AI.
  • ×No generating a body from scratch when you don't share a selfie — only symbolic figures (silhouette, constellation, hooded form).
  • ×No compatibility verdicts. Couple portraits are creative pairings, not predictions about your relationship.
  • ×No deities, sacred symbols, or initiatory religious imagery from any living tradition.
  • ×No restricted symbols: Othala rune, sacrifice imagery, deity-head avatars, Orisha-specific markers.

Full coverage
Hellenistic + evolutionary corpus. Colorism filtered from Ptolemy at the source. Picatrix decanic images retained as symbolic figures.
Vedic
Full coverage
100% of complexion and body descriptors removed from BPHS and Brihat Samhita. Nakshatra-level styling retained.
Chinese
Partial coverage
Mian Xiang used as atmospheric and palette layer only. No face anatomy. No Japanese conflation.
Egyptian
Partial coverage
Decanic images via Picatrix. No deity heads. No Cleopatra cliché. Inclusive casting required.
Druidic
Symbolic only
20th-century reconstruction (Graves, 1948) — not ancient physiognomy. Tree-calendar aesthetic only.
Norse

Elder Futhark aesthetic only. Othala rune fully excluded. No fortune-telling from runes.
